Up to 100% finance (with additional security) is available to developers for refurbishment, conversion and new-build properties in either the residential and commercial sectors.
Once the development is completed, the property can be refinanced against an enhanced valuation or sold on for a profit.
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT IN TODAY'S MARKET
Development finance is currently available for houses or blocks with less than six apartments, primarily in London and the Home Counties.
Usually a lender will provide up to 30% of land value/purchase price and up to 100% of build costs. For experienced developers requiring 100% funding for the whole project, a private investor / mezzanine solution may be available.
